PREVIEW SALE INFO

We are SO thankful to all of our consignors and volunteers for doing their part in making My Kidz Closet children’s consignment sale the success it is.

One of the best things about consigning is first pick! An even better thing about VOLUNTEERING is even earlier first pick!! On Wednesday afternoon, we hold a preview sale for the consignors and the volunteers.

At drop off the consignors will receive one armband to get into the preview sale. Volunteers will get more armbands for friends depending on how many hours they volunteer. These armbands MUST BE WORN for entrance to the preview sale.

We also offer a HALF PRICE preview sale on Friday night, September 13, 2024, 5:00pm - 7:00pm FOR VOLUNTEERS ONLY. NO GUESTS.

My Kidz Closet accepts Cash, Check, Debit, Visa and MasterCard.

The general public is invited to come to the Wednesday preview sale September 11, 2024 between 7pm and 9pm with an entrance fee of $5 CASH per adult. Yes, you can shop! Entrance fees are only collected during the Wednesday Preview Sale. Thursday - Saturday are open to the public, NO CHARGE.

Preview night tends to be very crowded and the lines can become quite long. As parents, we all know that long lines and children aren't always a good mix! It is best that you leave the kids at home or with a sitter if possible. If you must bring your children, they must stay with their parent. There absolutely CAN NOT be children running wild and playing with toys during the preview sale. This is for your children’s safety. If you can't or won't abide by these few rules for preview night, you will be asked to leave. Again, this is for your children's safety.

Our sale has always been known for its polite shoppers. To continue this we ask that you go through each clothing item one at a time on the rack. Please do not take an item off the rack unless you intend to purchase it. If you have selected items that you no longer want to purchase, we ask (BEG AND PLEAD) that you please place the clothing back into the appropriate gender and size on the racks. Remember this is YOUR stuff!!

• Most shoppers bring a laundry basket or box with them to hold their "bargains". My Kidz Closet provides large IKEA shopping bags for your convenience, but you must leave these with us when you checkout.


• Volunteers will be wearing aprons. If you have any questions or need assistance, please find the nearest volunteer.


• Only small umbrella type strollers will be allowed on the sales floor. Preview night is always crowded and large strollers make it more difficult to get around.


• Please do not leave unwanted items in a stack somewhere, or worse yet, put them on the racks in the wrong sizes. We understand not wanting an item due to stains, tears, defects, etc. but your "reject" pile should be smaller than your "keep" pile. If you find an item with a stain or tear, please give it to a volunteer.


• If you leave a stack unattended it will be removed and put back in the appropriate place.


• Volunteers in the large item rooms will help with large item purchases. Please do not remove the tags.


• The checkout line can get a bit long on preview night, so please be patient, it takes a lot of time to scan, count and make sure we are accurate on every purchase.


• We provide helpers to carry and load your purchases in your car. If you think you might need help, please tell your cashier.


• We will accept the following forms of payment; Cash, Check, Debit, Visa or MasterCard. No American Express or Discover Card.


• If anyone sees someone not following our simple shopping guidelines, please notify a volunteer so we can discuss the issue with them.

We really want this to be a fun, bargain collecting, shopping experience for everyone!!
